Bruseghin and Pardilla -whose teammates came into the podium in Pontevedra after yesterday's team victory- will look for the overall top-ten in the Vuelta as Sagan (LIQ) notched up his second win on stage 12 Movistar Team went today through their easiest day in a breathtaking 2011 Vuelta a España after the second day in Galicia, a preminently flat, 167-kilometer stage from Ponteareas to Pontevedra where Slovakian Peter Sagan (LIQ) took his second win in the Spanish grandtour into an uphill sprint where the two GC riders from the telephone squad, Marzio Bruseghin and Sergio Pardilla, underwent no problems through the ending phase. The blue team, making it into the podium of the Vuelta for the second time after claming honours atop Manzaneda on Wednesday, will be tackling from the tomorrow the 3-day mayhem that might become decisive for the final outcome: before the mountain-top finishes in La Farrapona, via San Lorenzo (Saturday 3rd), and the Alto de L'Angliru, previously climbing the Cordal (Sunday 4th), the pass of Ancares (Cat. 1) will open room for early attacks with its summit around 60k from Ponferrada's finish (158 km). Bruseghin (12th) and Pardilla (15th) will reach the crucial wekkend in the race with the aim to reach a top-ten finish they were holding during the first week.
