Movistar Team head into Canada

GP Québec (Friday 9th) and GP Montréal (Sunday 11th) mark some of the final World Tour calendar stops for the telephone squad While the eight survivors in the Vuelta a España from Movistar Team enjoy their second rest day in the Spanish grandtour in León, a second block from the telephone squad departs today for Canada, where the Blues will take part in the Grand Prix de Québec and the G.P. Montréal, two of the final UCI World Tour events of the season, on Friday 9th and Sunday 11th, respectively. The two American classics share a similar design, with circuits ranging from 12 to 17 kilometers and two major climbs in each lap to totalize 200k each. For both races, Yvon Ledanois will be directing a team led by José Joaquín Rojas, on his way to the World road Championships in Copenhagen, accompanied by Rui Costa, David Arroyo, Jesús Herrada, Javier Iriarte, Luis Pasamontes, Rubén Plaza and Enrique Sanz. The Navarran youngster will also take part on Thursday with 23 other sprinters in the Challenge Sprint Pro, a knockout event in groups of four riders over a 1-kilometer course.
