Brussels Classic / GP de Fourmies

Movistar Team to line up at Brussels Classic (Saturday) and the GP de Fourmies (Sunday) with part of their roster in Québec and Montréal next week

In the eve of their journey to Canadá for two of the late-season classics in the 2013 WorldTour, Movistar Team will debut in blue colours at two important races in Belgium and France. The Brussels Classic (Saturday 7th), successor of the historical Paris-Brussels race over 197km starting (Parc du Cinquentenaire) and finishing (Atomium) in the Belgian capital, and the GP de Fourmies (Sunday 8th), with 205km full of small climbs in the Nord region, will extend the long, Vuelta-alternate calendar for the Spanish team after good performances in Poitou-Charentes and Plouay.

José Luis Jaimerena will conduct an eight-man squad including Costa Rican Andrey Amador, Briton Alex Dowsett, Italian Giovanni Visconti, Portuguese Rui Costa and Spaniards Jesús Herrada, Fran Ventoso, Jonathan Castroviejo and Ángel Madrazo. From France, part of this group -the full line-up will be confirmed in the next few days- will fly to the east of Canada for the Grand Prix of Québec (Friday 13th) and Montréal (Sunday 15th).
