To be held in Madrid’s Telefónica headquarters

New women’s cycling team to be presented alongside five signings for UCI WorldTour male squad; event marks start of Abarca Sports’ eighth season under Telefónica’s sponsorship.

The Auditorium of Telefónica’s central headquarters complex in Madrid will be the venue for next Thursday’s (14 December) launch of the two squads the Movistar Team will bring to the road in 2018: the UCI WorldTour men’s team -active for a 39th consecutive year- and the new UCI Women’s Team.

The event will mark the start of a season which will officially depart a month later in Australia. The early schedule also includes stops in diverse places like Argentina, Colombia and the beginning events of the Spanish season.
