Lineups for this week

Basque climber tackles first race in Movistar Team colours at 64th Ruta del Sol (Wednesday 14th - Sunday 18th); Blues also present at 44th Volta ao Algarve this week.

Mikel Landa will wear the Movistar Team jersey for the first time in a race at the 64th Vuelta a Andalucía (Guide), starting on Wednesday 14th in Mijas and finishing four days later in Barbate. The Basque climber, supported by Andrey Amador, Jorge Arcas, Carlos Barbero, Héctor Carretero, Imanol Erviti and Marc Soler, will face a grueling route that features two explosive hilltop finishes -Las Allanadas / La Guardia de Jaén, on Thursday 15th; and Alcalá de los Gazules, on Saturday 17th- and a decisive 14km individual time trial on stage five.

As well as the Ruta del Sol, the Telefónica-backed squad will also be competing Wednesday to Sunday at the 44th Volta ao Algarve (Guide). The route also includes two mountainous stages -over the longer climbs of Fóia (Thursday) and Malhão (Sunday)- and a 20km ITT in and around Lagoa on Friday. The Movistar Team’s two locals, Nuno Bico and Nelson Oliveira, will lead a six-man squad completed by Eduardo Sepúlveda, Jaime Rosón, Rafa Valls and Jasha Sütterlin.
