Spanish rider leads Blues' performance in time trial, covered at 55kph by top performers and won by world's best specialist Filippo Ganna (iNS).

No missed opportunities for the top favourite as World Champion Filippo Ganna (IGD) took a resounding victory at the ITT stage two of the 2021 UAE Tour, held on Monday over a 13km course, on completely flat, warm roads, at the Al Hudayriat Island cycle track.

At a parcours fully suited to specialists, with the top contenders well over 55kph average, the Movistar Team had as their best performer no less than a world and European track champion, Albert Torres, whose 14’57” left him 1’01” behind the Italian.
