#CdEValledeMena is the most likely hashtag for the Burgos race. The best way to follow those races on Twitter, however, will probably be #CopaEspañaFéminasCofidis18 + @RFECiclismo.

Analysis

The Spanish Racing Series for women are nearing its end. After the race held on Saturday 5th in Balmaseda (Basque Country), all ladies will travel further south to compete on Sunday 6th at the Gran Premio Muniadona, held in the Mena valley in the province of Burgos.

It’s a lumpy race, even if there are no big climbs. Rough roads are the main difficulty of an event which always goes up and down – it’s significantly longer than other Cup races -exactly 100km for the Elite and Under23 competitors- and contains two more demanding ascents in the second half of the race: those to Elcarel (nearly 3km at 5%), the last one crested just 14km from the end.
