GP Montréal
219.6 Kilometers
Tougher than ever. Despite the characteristic Mont-Royal circuit in Montréal being unchanged for a tenth consecutive season at the second Canadian race of the UCI WorldTour, the 2019 race sees the route elongated, with nearly 220 kilometers and 18 laps of a course which contains a total 4,700 meters of elevation gain, one of the hardest in the whole calendar.
The Côte Camilien-Houde, with 1.8 kilometers at 8% average gradient, is the most characteristic climb of a parcours which also features the ascent to La Polytechnique, 780 meters at 6% with maximum slopes of 11%. The finish -just like in Québec, an uphill one- will be a duel between climbers and classics riders for the final victory of the weekend in the Americas.
