Male Team 25 - 28 May
Boucles de la Mayenne
537 Kilometers 4 Stages
The three road stages will be broadcast on the Eurosport App and GCN, at 2.10 / 1.40pm CEST. The prologue won’t be live.
They will be crucial: 10-6-4″ at every road stage finish, 3-2-1″ at intermediate sprints.
A prologue just over 4km long in Laval (Thursday 25th) could become decisive in the 2023 Boucles de la Mayenne, always a lumpy race with plenty of little hills, yet no big climbs. That kind of terrain requires good finishing punch, strategic intelligence and ability to cope well with chaos and exigence.
Out of the three road stages, the toughest one might be Friday 26th to Lassay les Châteaux, with 2,600m elevation gain and difficult roads in the finale. The other two days, especially Saturday 27th to Meslay du Maine, are good for a group sprint, even if Sunday’s finishing circuit in Laval will be tricky.
