Analysis

No changes in 2023 for the Durango-Durango Emakumeen Saria, which has consolidated its place in the calendar between the two northern WorldTour stageraces in Spain: the Itzulia Women, in its 2nd edition, and the more veteran Vuelta a Burgos.

The 113km route, starting at finishing in the Plaza Ezkurdi, covers early on four ascents of the gentle Miota, then tackles into its final loop a tough pair of climbs to Goiuria (5.5km at 5%), the latter of which will be preceded by Garai (slopes up to 18%). Before those, the riders will have to take on Areitio, 1100m at 6%.
