Analysis

There’s no changes to the route of the 18th Durango-Durango Emakumeen Saria, historically a preface to the Emakumeen Bira -it remains so- and now a top one-day event sandwiched between two relevant UCI stageraces in northern Spain, the Vuelta a Burgos having taken the leap towards pro competition.

The 113km course in Bizkaia comprises a softer, opening loop (five laps) around the Miota climb and two final laps over the more demanding Goiuria, five kilometers in length with some ups and downs and featuring maximum slopes of 17%. The shorter final lap makes the last climb be crested just 6km before the end.
