Focused on shining in the international scene yet never forgetting its Spanish roots, the Movistar Team will be back at the 2019 Spanish Racing Series, a competition with a calendar much better spreaded out during the season this year -March to July, instead of April to May-.

The 2nd edition of the GP Ciudad de Eibar -a Basque-categorized event last year and now a top-tier Spanish race- will comprise of 78km with two very distinct parts. Riders will head coastbound in the beginning, visiting the famous villages of Mutriku and Deba in a quite easy opening sixty kilometers, before turining back to Etxebarria and starting the Alto de San Miguel (Cat-3), 5.1km at 4.7% which will surely split the peloton before the uphill finish in the same streets where the famous amateur race Memorial Valenciaga finishes.
