Bretagne Classic - Plouay
258 Kilometers
The race will be broadcast live almost in full on the Eurosport App and GCN, starting at 11.45am.
57 climbs (!!). Keeping aside the fact that the organisers consider a number of short slopes as ascents, it’s true that, with 4,200 meters of elevation gain and almost 260km, the Bretagne Classic, or simply put, the Grand Prix de Plouay is a really demanding race, even more so at this point of the year, with almost all major races covered.
The gravel road, or ‘ribin’ as they know it in Brittany, of Le Hellès, just under 80km from the end, will be the first key point of an event finishing with a final one-and-a-half laps of a circuit with Rostervel (1.5km at 4.5%), Lezot (900m at 5.3%) and Kerscoulic (225m at 8.9%), the latter overcome three kilometers before the finish line.
