The relationship between the two entities has lasted five years and continues until the end of the 2026 season.

Podoactiva has reached an agreement with Movistar Team to renew its collaboration and will thus be linked to the cycling team for two more years as an official supplier of podiatry and insoles.
The Aragonese company will continue to care for the health of the feet of the riders of the only UCI WorldTour team in the Spanish peloton, the highest category of international cycling. Podoactiva will thus put its patented technology in the performance of gait studies and in the manufacture of personalized insoles, as well as the work of its professionals, at the service of Movistar Team.

The collaboration begins each year with podiatric studies and treatments during the pre-season training camp, and continues throughout the year with personalized monitoring and with the provision of the company’s network of clinics and podiatrists and protocols to cyclists.
After five seasons in which Podoactiva has been in charge of podiatric care and the development of insoles for the men’s and women’s teams of Movistar Team, the Aragonese company continues to strengthen its commitment to Spanish cycling and elite sport, where it has positioned itself as a national and international reference by working with several of the best clubs and entities in our country, with more than 5,000 top-level athletes among the more than one million patients it treats.

This track record and these credentials were reinforced by obtaining the National Award for Arts and Sciences Applied to Sport within the framework of the 2021 National Sports Awards granted by the High Council of Sports and presented by Their Majesties the Kings, and advances its next milestone with the Podoactiva Sportech project, in which the company is already building the largest open-air laboratory for biomechanics applied to sports performance in the world.
Javier Alfaro, general manager of Podoactiva, took the opportunity to state that “renewing this agreement with Movistar Team is a source of pride for us and we hope to continue being suppliers of podiatry and insoles for many more years.”
For his part, Juan Pablo Molinero, CMO of Movistar Team, stressed that “we are very happy with the results of these last seasons and we believe that the health of our cyclists’ feet cannot be in better hands.”
