Madrazo concludes Trofeo Migjorn with small bruises after the last of two crashes into the final 5k, with Fenn (OPQ) confirming domination in Mallorca as Rojas places in 9th

The second of four events into the 2012 Challenge de Mallorca left a bit of fright for Movistar Team into the 171k Trofeo Migjorn, starting and finishing at Llucmajor. The telephone squad got involved into the two incidents during the finale, after a really fast race seeing Scot Andrew Fenn (OPQ) taking back-to-back victories in the Balearic island.

Ángel Madrazo was the worst affected, with a crash 2k from the finish causing him small bruises in his right side and ankle, fortunately with no major consequences. In turn, Javi Moreno and Nairo Quintana -who debuted today in Blue outfit- were dropped after a jam due to another crash a couple of kilometers before.

Spaniard José Joaquín Rojas, 9th at today’s bunch kick, will defend tomorrow with the rest of his Movistar Team team-mates the 2011 win at the Trofeo Deià, over 151 kilometers and up to six categorized climbs. José Luis Arrieta’s lineup will be completed by 2010 victor Rui CostaAlejandro ValverdeGiovanni ViscontiSergio PardillaBeñat IntxaustiIván GutiérrezJosé Herrada and Branislau Samoilau.
