Today, January 20, 2011, Movistar Team made history by taking the first win in his just-started pro trajectory. The squad took the individual tiem trial in the Argentinian Tour de San Luis, a race where they went close to claim their first overall title. The protagonist couldn’t be other but Xavi Tondo, the rider becoming the symbol of the entire group and also a paradigm view on understanding cycling. The late Catalan rider took the honours and wrote down his name into the history of the telephone squad. His always-present memory becomes even more intense today by remembering the happiest moments in the start of the Movistar Team adventure. We remember him with a smile, the one he always wore.
