Moving all their pieces with maestry to achieve the desired success for Xavi Tondo. Movistar Team showed their best collective level during the decisive day in the 27th Vuelta a Castilla y León, 173 kilometers around Segovia with the climbs of Navafría, Morcuera and Navacerrada, where the squad directed by José Luis Arrieta proved to be the strongest lineup to make possible the triumph by one of them, Javi Moreno, in the overall classification, following a day of cold, snow and dangerous descents.
At the highlights over the text, produced by regional TV station RTVCyL, the moves leading to success can be observed: the early escape by Vladimir Karpets and Rubén Plaza, the junction by David Arroyo at Morcuera’s downhill, and the work by Moreno’s teammates to drop race leader Luis León Sánchez (RAB) before his attack and the perfect company by the squad until the final sprint, where the Andalusian got really close to the win notched up by Panamanian Yelko Gómez (CJR).
