Five days before the start of the 2021 La Vuelta, the Movistar Team confirmed their eight-man lineup for Saturday’s start of the 76th Spanish grandtour in Burgos.

The Eusebio Unzué-managed team will take the start of the opening ITT with Imanol Erviti, Johan Jacobs, Miguel Ángel López, Enric Mas, Nelson Oliveira, José Joaquín Rojas, Alejandro Valverde and Carlos Verona.

It will be the 42nd consecutive appearance -they haven’t ever missed the race since the structure’s inception in 1980; 11 years under Telefónica’s sponsorship- of a squad whose decorated history includes four overall victories, 13 podiums, 63 stage wins and 12 team prizes.
