Spanish company remains the official insole provider and podology partner of the Blues next season, with biomechanical studies to the riders at their kickoff camp in Pamplona as main support in the new agreement.

Podoactiva and Movistar Team have extended their partnership for an additional season, the Aragón, Spain-based company set to continue taking care of the Blues’ men’s and women’s squad’s feet next year. After three seasons together, the leading company in podology and biomechanics continue with great excitement as they support one of the biggest teams in their home country.

The new extension will see Podoactiva offering the Blues their exclusive technology, Younext Bike, to optimize the performance and health of the riders on the bike, as well as 3D scans of their feet to design and produce custom insoles adapted to their efforts on the bike, offering more comfort and better breathability. The riders of the team will have Podoactiva’s doors open in their vast network across the country, with Podoactiva’s professionals an integral part of the Spanish team’s medical staff.

Podoactiva remains an innovative agent in prevention of injuries across elite sports, supporting some of the biggest references in Spanish sports, including the Movistar Team, which now starts its 44th season in cycling’s top tier.

The Movistar Team’s men’s and women’s squads have already started their preparations for the 2023 season with a kickoff camp in Pamplona, which Podoactiva attended to take studies on the riders’ individual footprint before the beginning of the season. Javier Alfaro, technical director for Podoactiva, and Antonio Gómez, director of clinical investigations for the company, work together with the team spearheaded by Patxi Vila, head of performance for the Movistar Team, and Víctor Rodríguez Rielves, main biomechanic, to check on the riders’ feet and develop / produce the custom insoles every one of them needs.
