ETB1 will be showing highlight 25-minute highlights, just after the short TDF stage finishing atop the Portet. The signal, also available at www.eitb.eus on demand, will start around 6pm.

Timetable

With stage 17 of the Tour de France being so short, there won’t be any time clashes between the Prueba Villafranca and the ‘Grande Boucle’. The race will start at 10am local and finish around 2pm.

The race has a Twitter account for the first time in 2018: @PVOK_. The hashtags used by the organisers, the AD Chapel Gorri, are #95PruebaVillafranca and #95OrdiziakoKlasika. Over @Movistar_Team we’ll keep an eye on our boys’ performances, just before a key day in the Tour de France.

The Movistar Team has won the race four times. It did in 1985 (Gastón), 2007 (‘Purito’), 2008 (Karpets) and 2014, with local hero Gorka Izagirre.
