Analysis

It’s an identical course in 2023 for the fourth edition of the GP Ciudad de Eibar compared to last year’s. Not featuring a climb such as Arrate, maybe too crucial for the end result, yet with a sufficient amount of ascents, the finish at Eibar’s Toribio Etxebarria street will be open to many different scenarios.

The 112km course includes two different sides of the Alto de Itziar, one climb to Meagas and the decisive Alto de San Miguel, 5.2km at 4.7% completed with 12km to go. The kilometer prior to the finish, while featuring two slopes at 4%, is not particularly hard.
