‘De Ronde’ marks legendary stop

José Joaquín Rojas and Fran Ventoso will be the two leaders from Movistar Team in the 95th Ronde van Vlaanderen, the second of five one-day monuments in cycling's calendar which will gather all attention from an entire country on Sunday 3rd.

Joining them, other riders which adequate characteristics to the hardness of the Flemish classic –Andrey Amador, Luis Pasamontes, Imanol Erviti, Carlos Oyarzun, Ignatas Konovalovas and neo-pro Jesús Herrada– will try to shine in the 258km route of the Belgian race, featuring nearly twenty of the famous “hellingen” and as much cobbled sections.

Meanwhile, most of the squad that will take part in the Vuelta al País Vasco from Monday 4th will line up for the Gran Premio Miguel Indurain, a one-day UCI 1.HC race taking place on Navarran soil as seven out of eight riders in the Basque tour’s roster  –Beñat Intxausti, Xavi Tondo, David Arroyo, Marzio Bruseghin, Ángel Madrazo, Vasil Kiryienka and Chente García Acosta– will be helped by Pablo Lastras and locals Javier Iriarte and Enrique Sanz.
