Roubaix and Amorebieta due on Sunday
09 April 2011

With the final outcome pending in the 51st Vuelta al País Vasco, finishing this evening as Tondo, Intxausti and David López ride Zalla's ITT for a place into the overall podium, Movistar Team will be racing in two different fronts on Sunday.

The 57th Klasika Primavera will be closing the ‘Big Week’ in Basque cycling in Amorebieta. In a historically favourable route for Eusebio Unzué’s structure -2010 was the first edition in five years’ time for the squad with no podium places-, Movistar Team will be lining up with locals David López and Beñat Intxausti, joined by Fran Ventoso, Pablo Lastras, Sergio Pardilla, Mauricio Soler, Branislau Samoilau, Jesús Herrada, Enrique Sanz and Javier Iriarte, all directed by José Luis Jaimerena.

In turn, a second block from the squad will be riding Paris-Roubaix, the race that better emphasizes the mystic component in cycling, in northern France. José Joaquín Rojas will be once again the reference of the squad directed by Yvon Ledanois, with Imanol Erviti, Andrey Amador, Iván Gutiérrez, Ignatas Konovalovas, Carlos Oyarzun, Luis Pasamontes and Fran Pérez alongside him.
