Twelve riders form shortlist to Movistar Team's definitive lineup for the 66th edition of the Spanish grandtour, starting in Alicante's Benidorm on August 20th Movistar Team are finetuning their forces for the last of the three grandtours in the international calendar. The squad's general manager Eusebio Unué has a twelve-rider list in mind that will give the definitive nine heading into the 66th Vuelta a España, whose start in Benidorm is scheduled for August 20th. The twelve men appointed are Marzio Bruseghin (ITA), Imanol Erviti, Chente García Acosta, Beñat Intxausti, Vasil Kiryienka (BLR), Ignatas Konovalovas (LTU), Pablo Lastras, David López, Ángel Madrazo, Sergio Pardilla, Rubén Plaza and Branislau Samoilau (BLR).

The Movistar Team selection will get clearly defined after the three stageraces the telephone squad will take on during the beginning of the month of August: the Tour de Pologne -starting on Sunday in Varsovia-; the Vuelta a Burgos, kicking off on Wednesday; and the Eneco Tour, covering Belgium and the Netherlands from August 8th.

No complications in Poland
In turn, the eight Movistar Team riders in the 68th Tour de Pologne (UCI World Tour) completed today with no major incidents the third stage, over 135 kilometers from Będzin to Katowice where German Marcel Kittel (SKS) maintained his impressive streak of victories in the three bunch sprints up to date. The race will offer new options for the telephone squad -still with Carlos Oyarzun (12th) as best GC placed- on stage 4, with 176k from Oświęcim to Cieszyn where the main complication will be the final kilometer into the ending circuit, over a sharp, full of turns, cobbled ascent.
