Movistar Team confirmed as most powerful squad in Vuelta a Burgos, keep chances untouched in a hard race holding its TTT tomorrow The second mountain-top finish of the 2011 Vuelta a Burgos was the same story seen yesterday atop San Juan del Monte. Joaquim Rodríguez (KAT) and Samuel Sánchez (KAT) showed again why they're considered to be the strongest in the race, while Movistar Team proved to be the most serious block in the Castilian race. At the picturesque, spectacular finish of the Castillo de Burgos climb, Rodríguez took the stage win and the win over Samuel, with again four Movistar Team within the top guns.

The sensations were confirmed by the higher GC placings by David López (3rd), Sergio Pardilla (4th) and Pablo Lastras (6th), still within the best -Ventoso is also into the overall top-15- as the team strengthens its leading position at the teams ranking in the eve of another key stage, the third of the race with 11.6k of team time trial from Pradoluengo to Belorado.

In turn, the Tour de Pologne saw again Slovakian Peter Sagan (LIQ) show dominating manners as he kept the yellow jersye via another stage win into a complicated route of 201k around Zakopane. Movistar Team could take to show their colours with the attack by Chile’s Carlos Oyarzun with 7k to go, quickly responded by teammate Ángel Madrazo once he got caught and keeping the lead into the final 5k. Both, along Asturian Luis Pasamontes, Marzio Bruseghin and Eastern riders Samoilau and Konovalovas, made the front group for the telephone squad. The penultimate stage and showdown for the GC riders comes tomorrow with over 200k of big hills around Bukovina.
