The Movistar Team had an impressively warm welcome by media and fans when arriving at the Bogota airport, the Blue climber continuing his recovery and staying at home for Christmas
Mauricio Soler is back in home land after six months of hard recovery following his horrible accident in June during the Tour of Switzerland. The Colombian rider of Movistar Team was incredibly well received on Tuesday evening at the El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá (Colombia), where he landed at 4pm (local time) and was yelled by his countrymen -including the President of the Colombian Cycling Federation, Jorge Ovidio González-, as well as asked by most of the national media. Soler, who was accompanied by his wife Patricia during the trip home, could finally rejoin his family and his little, 1-year-old son Juan Mauricio “Cachetes”, and will spend Christmas in Bogotá, where he will continue with rehab at the Clinica Teletón following the instructions for total recovery given by the Clinica Universitaria in Pamplona.
