The Spaniard had a double fracture in his right knee repaired in Pamplona on Monday and will be discharged today

Ángel Madrazo went through a successful operation on Monday evening to fix the double fracture in his right knee that forced him to set a premature end to his fourth professional season. The Movistar Team rider was intervened at the Clínica San Miguel in Pamplona, where the team directed by doctor Jesús Alfaro sutured the fracture in his internal meniscus and placed a plasty in his broken anterior cruciate ligament. Unless major troubles for him in the next few hours, Madrazo will be discharged today to start with rehab, looking to be able to get on the road into a short team the doctors have estimated on six to eight weeks.
