Alejandro Valverde, Nairo Quintana, Rui Costa, Andrey Amador, Jonathan Castroviejo, Rubén Plaza, Imanol Erviti, Iván Gutiérrez and José Joaquín Rojas. The nine riders that will be defending the Movistar Team colours in the 100th edition of the Tour de France wore their race colours of the official presentation of the race in Corsica, held next to the spectacular Mega Smeralda boat in the port of Porto-Vecchio.

The nine riders from the telephone squad, accompanied by DS’s José Luis Arrieta and José Luis Jaimerena, marched through the scene arranged by the organization, with all 198 competitors appearing for the media and fans before the race starts on Saturday. Earlier in the morning, the Blue team rode for two-and-a-half hours under perfect weather conditions in their first day through the roads of Corsica.

O2 logo on Movistar Team’s jerseys
The introduction of the O2 logo to the official Movistar Team jersey further demonstrates Telefónica’s commitment to supporting world class sporting achievement – like O2s existing sponsorship of the England and Ireland national rugby teams – and brings together the Movistar and O2 brands. It’s also an opportunity for the O2 brand to generate awareness in those markets where the Movistar Team competes.
