Tour du Limousin (st. 4)

Spaniard takes 3rd in Limoges after entering decisive break, beaten by Rossetto (BIG) and Levarlet (COF). Visconti finishes in 6th, leads main bunch

The last chance is gone for Movistar Team to snatch a stage win in the 2013 Tour du Limousin as the Blues shone in the technical, final circuit in Limoges, the end of a 179km stage four starting at Bourganeuf. Ángel Madrazo claimed the 3rd spot of the day after entering a decisive move into the last of three local laps in the region’s capital, along with Gorka Izagirre (EUS), Julien Simon (SOJ) and the two riders which were to overcome him in the final uphill: Levarlet (COF) and day’s winner Stéphane Rossetto (BIG). Behind, Giovanni Visconti led the bunch home -with Martin Elmiger (IAM) as overall victor- to take 6th.
