Jesús Herrada confirmed in the Spanish road champs in Bembibre what he always seemed ready to be: one of the top guns

Movistar Team profited from the strength of its roster, the most numerous in the race with 16 members, to conquer the national RR title for a fourth consecutive time. It was an exciting final escape: the man from Mota del Cuervo fought with his new team-mate Ion Izagirre for a golden future, a title played between two riders of the newest generation in Spanish cycling.

Jesús anticipated his final move to take his best victory to date, in a 3rd pro season to keep learning and build a bright future: he’s only 23.
