To the Top (14): A dummy for him
03 December 2013

2013 Overview

He had been born the day after the end of the Vuelta, but Javi Moreno couldn't dedicate his baby a victory until May. It was in the Alto de la Morcuera, winning the Vuelta a Madrid

That success on the Rascafría climb was the start of a successful break for the Andalusian, continued just seven days later during the Vuelta a Asturias -winning on the famous Alto del Naranco-, which took his 2013 to a climax after coming just few seconds close to overall victory in the Tour Down Under. 2014 will be Moreno’s third season in the elite of cycling, always helping out his team leaders as committed as he performed when he had to make his individual chances count.
