Spaniard scores 9th place in Mesaieed after fourth day in Qatar is scheduled earlier to combat headwinds; no major difficulties for the Movistar Team, with only a crash for an unhurt Sütterlin

"A calm day out," was Chente García Acosta's definition at the end of the 165km stage four in the 2015 Tour of Qatar from Al Thakhira to Mesaieed, a day whose start was scheduled 1h10 earlier than initially proposed (at 11.30 local, 9.30 CET) as the organisers took into the account the strong headwinds affecting the race on its journey southbounds, especially from the second hour of the course (only 30km covered in that lapse.)

With the only negative note of a crash for Jasha Sütterlin, the German suffering no injuries and getting back to his consistent work at the front of the bunch, the Movistar Team stayed attentive together with many other squads to chase the day's break down -Venter (MTN), Gruzdev (AST), Salomein (TSV)- and launch a sprint where Alexandr Kristoff (KAT) beat Peter Sagan (TCS) by a short margin, while José Joaquín Rojas took 9th. Thursday will bring the penultimate day of racing on Qatari soil, with 153km set to be covered between Al Zubarah and Madinat Al Shamal.
