In good spirits and without any pressure, the Movistar Team riders tackle tomorrow the Corsa Rosa's opening TTT in Sanremo at 16.10 local
Training rides over the 17.6-kilometer team time trial from San Lorenzo al Mare to San Remo, relaxed atmosphere and lots of rest have marked the opening two days of the Movistar Team expedition at the 98th Giro d'Italia. Lacking a strong reference for the overall classification, the squad directed by Jaimerena and Chente will rely on the strength and nose of its most promising youngsters to succeed.
Ready for tomorrow's TTT and the upcoming three weeks, the telephone squad -composed by Amador, Antón, Fernández, Jesús Herrada, Intxausti, Ion Izagirre, Lobato, Dayer Quintana and Visconti- will roll off the start ramp at 16.10 local. They will be the thirteenth squad out of twenty-two looking to follow Nairo Quintana as holders of the 'Maglia Rosa'.
