Tour of Guangxi (et. 2)

Gaviria (QST) claims back-to-back victories in Nanning, remains in GC lead as Bico comes close to top-20 finish.

Fernando Gaviria (QST) continues to hold full protagonism at the inaugural Tour of Guangxi, whose 157km stage two from Qinzhou to Nanning on Friday saw the Colombian taking the day’s honours at the slightly-uphill finishing straight.

Lastra (CJR), Dillier (BMC, 2nd overall) and Wang (TBM) led the main break of the day as the Movistar Team riders remained out of any danger inside the main bunch.

Nuno Bico was again the top Blue finisher in 22nd place. Saturday will bring another city loop around Nanning on stage three (125km).
