Blues to be equipped with BOA®-powered running shoes, ensuring its innovative performance fit is not only confined to the bike.

Boa® and the Movistar Team have started a partnership agreement that will see the firm supporting one of the most successful squads in the UCI WorldTour. The Boa System has become a trusted name in the cycling world due to its ‘Performance Fit’ ethos and commitment to making the best cycling shoes even better. With its micro adjustment capability offering riders unrivaled flexibility during the toughest races, Boa powered footwear have quickly become the choice for most of the peloton.

Boa® strongly believes that the perfect customized fit should not be confined to the training or racing environment, so has therefore teamed up with the Movistar World Tour Team to ensure its athletes have footwear they can trust in more aspects of their daily lives. The partnership will see all team riders and support staff equipped with the asics Dynamis and New Balance Sonic, both featuring the new Boa L6 system with its strong textile-based laces and guides. The cooperation will also ensure the team Mechanics are prepared for all conditions and race day challenges with the Boa powered, waterproof Icebug DTS3 and Adidas Terrex Conrax Boa® shoes.

With fizik as the main partner for cycling shoes and saddles, the riders will enjoy the performance of the Boa System on and of the bike. The fizik Infinito R1 is equipped with two Boa IP1 dials.
