Alejandro Valverde put end to a 208-day recovery without a backnumber on, following his serious injury due to a crash on the opening stage of the 2017 TDF, at the Challenge Mallorca, where he scored a 3rd place in the Trofeo Serra de Tramuntana and a 4th spot in the Trofeo Lloseta-Andratx.
