Biomechanical adjustments at Spanish velodrome

Eight riders from telephone squad -Landa, Soler, Nairo Quintana included- participate in bomechanical tests in Spain, looking to improve their aero efficiency for time trials.

Taking advantage of a rest period between the two most important racing blocks for the Movistar Team in March, the Eusebio Unzué-led squad has spent Wednesday and Thursday carrying out tests in the Tafalla velodrome in Navarra, near their headquarters in northern Spain.

The Telefónica-backed team has called up eight riders for this two-day test: Mikel Landa, Marc Soler, Nairo Quintana, Jaime Rosón, Richard Carapaz, Nelson Oliveira, Jorge Arcas and Héctor Carretero.

The Blues have invested time at these sessions on biomechanical and technical adjustments with their riders, in collaboration with top team sponsors, in order to improve their aero efficiency and time trial performance before the most important races of the season.
