GP Miguel Indurain
192.9 Kilometers
The GP Miguel Indurain retains for 2019 a very welcome change from last year, its finish in the city center of Estella (the Inmaculada avenue) instead of a more difficult one of the Basílica del Puy climb, used until 2017. The race will also add an exotic passage through gravel roads in the first half of the race, just next to the Circuito de Navarra racetrack and prior to the main climbs.
Most of the elevations are into the second half of the 195km parcours. After an initial ascent to Ibarra (102km) and a passage through the finish, the race will head towards the Alto de Arradia (125km) and the Alto de Guirguillano (Cat-1), to later tackle a longer climb to Lezaun (Cat-2) and start the tough loop around the finish, with two ascents to Muru, another two to Ibarra, one climb to Irache and the always-decisive Alto de Eraul (Cat-2), crested with 10km to go.
