Tour de Suisse (st. 3)

Movistar Team keeps its roster safe and calm at first bunch finish in Switzerland; more hills coming up near the end of stage four in Arlesheim.

Former World Champion Peter Sagan (BOH) took a convincing victory at the uphill, cobbled, finish of Murten, end of stage three of the 2019 Tour de Suisse (162.3km), covered with no troubled for any of the Movistar Team riders.

Anacona -top Blue rider in the overall standings, 11th at 29″ from the Slovakian sensation-, Mas, Soler, Carretero, Roelandts, Barbero and Betancur suffered no incidents into a rolling route with just two Cat-3 ascents, an intermezzo between Langnau’s opening weekend and the lumpier stages – yet not big mountains –  on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Stage four will indeed bring a tougher ending section than today’s, with 164 kilometers that include the climbs to Eichenberg (Cat-3) and Hochwald -non-categorized- less than 20km from a flatter end.
