Alé Cycling partners with the Movistar Team for its 2020 jersey

The well-known 'Veronese' brand inks a partnership agreement with the legendary, Spanish WorldTour team: in 2020, the Movistar Team will race with Alé jerseys.

When you say Movistar, in cycling, you immediately think to one of the most renowned and prestigious teams of the whole World Tour circuit. In over 40 years, that the team celebrated this 2019, the Movistar Team reported 7 Tour de France, 4 Giro D’Italia, 4 Vuelta a España, 4 World Championships, over 583 stages and some 930 wins! The greatest champions have worn the Movistar Team jersey along the years, starting from Miguel Indurain, Pedro Delgado, Alejandro Valverde, Nairo Quintana, Rui Costa, up to Richard Carapaz the winner of the Giro 2019.

For 2020 the Movistar Team chose Alé: the prestigious Veronese brand has signed the uniforms of the new team, which is preparing to face the next professional season. Alé formalized the partnership with the Spanish World Tour team during the “Gran Galà Alé”, the company’s annual gala evening, which was held inside the Gran Guardia building, in the heart of Verona, on 16 November 2019.

For the Movistar Team, Alé makes available its enormous technical savoir-faire and its great textile expertise, proposing elaborate outfits driven from their PRR line. The PRR collection combines racing fit, light, breathable and super functional fabrics, designed to support the athlete in his/her performance goals.

Graphics and details of the team’s new outfit are still top secret. A few anticipations were given during the Gala evening such as the color that will be light and navy blue. The unveil of the Movistar Team 2020 livery designed by Alè will take place during the official presentation of the team, to be held in Madrid on December 19th, 2019.
