Tour of Norway TTT
24.2 Kilometers
At the southern province of Østfold, just next to the Swedish border and relatively close to where the two Vårgårda events were held few days before, the team time trial of the Ladies Tour of Norway will be held on Thursday 16th August. It’s a race ranked 1.WWT -thus not counting for the GC result of the event starting on Friday–, a formar chosen by the race organisers just few weeks before the teams embarked towards the Scandinavian province.
The towns of Aremark and Halden will be the starting and closing points of a 24.2km parcours. It will be a mixture of winding roads near the départ, a fast descent towards the end and, to decide the race, a 2km, 4% average hill climb towards the Fredriksten fortress, with some serious slopes before the ‘flamme rouge’ and gentler sections near the line. Just like in Suecia, all teams will have to save energy and keep it together before that section.
