Analysis

One of the most demanding races in the season because of the length and toughness of its côtes, the women’s Liège-Bastogne-Liège will be broadcast live for the first time ever in its fourth edition. It keeps intact the most significant aspects of its route, featuring a finish in downtown Liège (this time at the Quai des Ardennes) instead of the one traditionally used in Ans.

Wanne (56km), Haute-Levée (66km) and La Vecquée (88km) will be the first categorized elevations of an event which will be decided, as has indeed been the case in previous years, with La Redoute (-30km) and the Roche-aux-Faucons, located just 13km from the end and which, together with the uphill section after its summit, offers the final points for attacks.
