Analysis

The Movistar Team will again show its support to the Volta a Catalunya by lining up in the 2nd edition of the ‘reVolta’, the women’s event of the centenary race, which will be held this time -three years after the inaugural Montjuïc circuit- over a hilly 97km course in and around Sant Cugat del Vallés.

The climbs to the Alt de la Capçuda (Cat-3) and, more importantly, the Alt de la Creu d’Aragall (Cat-1), over 6.5km at 6%, will be the main breaking point for the peloton before a 30km downhill / flat approach to the finish, with some 3-4% slopes near the end.
