GP Miguel Indurain
198.1 Kilometers
Live pictures will be provided by Eurosport at 3.30pm CET.
The home race for the Movistar Team, the GP Miguel Indurain, holds in 2024 its 25th edition under its current name, with a route mostly unchanged from previous years, giving maximum importance to the four ascents of Ibarra -just before the finish in Estella-, while remaining a challenging course all around its 198km route.
Lumpy roads over the first half of the race will leave room to more demanding terrain from the first of two climbs to Eraul -Cat-2; 4km at 5%, harder second half- and the non-categorized Muru and Ibarra (the latter already climbed for a second time, 105km in).
The final chain of climbs is very well known: Guirguillano (Cat-1; 66k to go); Lezaun (Cat-2; -48km); another ascent, the third, to Muru and Ibarra; and the decisive, second climb of Eraul, just ten kilometers from the end, before the decisive, famous, already commented duo next to Estella.
