Analysis

The traditional Grand Prix Plouay keeps its essences more or less intact: a nervous race, on narrow roads, with endless efforts as the riders have to climb an astonishing 47 little categorized hills for a little bit more elevation from 2023, around +2500m gain, finishing with two-and-a-half laps of the classic Plouay circuit.

The final loop features three ascents: Rostervel (1.5km at 4.5%) and the consecutive Lezot (900m, 5.3%) + Kerscoulic (225m, 8.9%). The latter is crested just over 3km from the end, and should the peloton not be split after that, the finishing line is slightly uphill.
