GP Larciano

After two years of absence, the Movistar Team returns to the GP Larciano as the event changes dates, becoming the opener of the Italian autumn semi-classic season – a ‘tournée’ the Telefónica-backed squad will cover almost in full towards Il Lombardia (October 12th).

The Tuscan race uses a series of well-known circuits, already present when we last raced in 2021. The climb of Fornello is covered five times: 2x towards the top (3km, 6%) and immediately down, then another three just before the finish over some ups and downs to the town of San Baronto, reached just 6km before the line. Good descenders can take chances if they’ve got a gap.
