The first edition of the Giro d’Italia Women under its new running company, RCS Sport, starts on Sunday 7th July from Brescia with the Movistar Team as title holders from the past two years.

For this year’s Italian grandtour, Sebastián Unzué, Tim Harris and Jorge Sanz will coordinate a seven-woman squad with Liane Lippert and Arlenis Sierra as biggest references.

Claire Steels, Mareille Meijering, Paula Patiño, Sara Martín and Jelena Erić complete the Telefónica-backed squad’s roster for the eight-day Giro, ending in L’Aquila on Sunday 14th.
