Challenges coming up for the weekend

The Clásica San Sebastian and the Circuito de Getxo, in Spain, and the start of the Tour de Pologne divide Movistar Team's roster into three blocksMovistar Team have a busy weekend of competitions as they take part in the two races closing the month of July in Spain, the Clásica San Sebastian and the Circuito de Getxo, plus the opening stage of the Tour de Pologne on Sunday, the Eastern race marking the return into the World Tour calendar in the summer along with the race in Donosti.

For the 31st Clásica San Sebastián, José Luis Arrieta will lead an 8-man group formed up by José Joaquín Rojas, Rui Costa, Imanol Erviti, Sergio Pardilla, David López, Pablo Lastras, Jesús Herrada and Chente García Acosta. A day later, in the 66th Circuito de Getxo on Bizkaia soil, Movistar Team will repeat with Lastras, Herrada and López, as Iván Gutiérrez, Beñat Intxausti, Javier Iriarte, Enrique Sanz and Fran Ventoso join them.

Also on Sunday, the 68th Tour de Pologne, the most important stagerace in Eastern Europe, will begin. Over seven days, the race will go across the most important cities in Poland during an event marked by the absence of a time trial, getting predictably decided into thelast stages. Movistar Team will present the following lineup: Marzio Bruseghin, Rubén Plaza, Vasil Kiryienka, Ignatas Konovalovas, Branislau Samoilau, Luis Pasamontes, Ángel Madrazo and Chilean Carlos Oyarzun, all directed by José Luis Jaimerena and Yvon Ledanois.
