After their glorious finish in Andalucía, Movistar Team will try to continue their winning streak in two Spanish one-day races this weekend

With victories in both Mallorca and Andalucía, the two Spanish races covered up to date, and with the aim of increasing their prolific, 4-victory account in the opening month of the 2013 season, Movistar Team will be facing another weekend of competitions on home soil.

The 33rd Vuelta a Murcia –reduced to a one-day competition this year- and the 28th Clásica de Almería will be the places where the telephone squad will bring two powerful rosters to achieve the coveted triumphs. The Murcian race will have a demanding route, with five categorized climbs -two of them being Cat. 1 ones- and a hilltop finish in the Castillo de Lorca (Cat. 3), with slopes up to 13%. José Luis Laguía will direct an 8-man squad including local Alejandro Valverde, joined by fellow countryman José Joaquín Rojas, Juanjo Cobo, Pablo Lastras, Rubén Plaza, Nairo Quintana and brothers José and Jesús Herrada.

In turn and again with Laguia as DS, Fran VentosoJuanjo CoboImanol ErvitiJosé and Jesús HerradaPablo LastrasJavi Moreno and Iván Gutiérrez will take part in the Andalusian race, over 182 kilometers between Almería and Roquetas de Mar and major climbs just in the midway zone, with three Cat. 3 ascents.
