Polish rider -supported by sensational Movistar Team- comes few meters shorts for maiden UCI win for Blues in Dörtendorf; becomes 3rd overall.

A well-timed series of final efforts and huge work by a fantastic Movistar Team saw Malgorzata Jasinska showing her undeniable class at the toughest stage of the Thüringen Tour (UCI WE 2.1), 105km and four tough laps in Dörtendorf, the ladies directed by Jorge Sanz working their hearts out for their leader.

Gloria Rodríguez -keeping attention to the early moves-, Alba Teruel -emptying her tank to bring back a dangerous break including Rivera (SUN), Ritter (WHT) and Worrack (CSR)-; Alicia González, present at the counter-attacks behind the break; and a sensational Aude Biannic, with her huge turns in the finale, all made impressive efforts for ‘Jasi’, who jumped away in the final climb and finished 3rd behind Rozanne Slik (FDJ) and Ellen Van Dijk (SUN).

Jasinska’s result takes her up to third overall, 18” behind Lisa Brennauer (WHT), with two stages to go, an almost 140km route around Gotha (Saturday) and Sunday’s decisive ITT (18km) in Schmölln.
